The Deccan Education Society entered the Post-centennial Silver Jubilee Year in 2008. In order to mark this occasion, the authorities of the D. E. Society decided to launch various Professional Courses five years ago. It was proposed to start the College of Physiotherapy& College of Nursing on Fergusson College Campus, as a culmination of several rounds of discussions between the members of DES Council and wellwishers.
