Welcome to the Deccan Educations Society (DES), a distinguished institution with a rich heritage spanning 138 years. Founded in 1884 by a group of visionaries, DES has been instrumental in shaping the educational landscape of India. With a commitment to providing quality education, DES has emerged as a beacon of knowledge, fostering intellectual growth and holistic development.

The founders of DES, including illustrious personalities like Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Gopal Ganesh Agarkar, Vishnushastri Chiplunkar, Mahadeo Ballal Namjoshi and Vamanrao Apte envisioned an education system that would empower individuals and contribute to the nation's progress. Their foresight and unwavering dedication laid the foundation for the Society's enduring legacy.

Over the years, DES has established a network of esteemed institutions that have become pillars of excellence in various fields. Starting with New English School in Pune in the year 1880, today Deccan Education Society has emerged as a dynamic conglomerate of 58 educational institutes. All these institutes are acknowledged as centres of quality education with the firm commitment to the pursuit of excellence. Deccan Education Society has spread its operations at multiple locations namely Pune, Mumbai, Sangli, Satara, Wai, Shirur, Alibaug and Renigunta.
