Maharashtra Nursing Council vide its letter dated 02.08.2007, Indian Nursing Council vide its letter dated 23.11.2007 and Government of Maharashtra vide its letter dated 09.08.2006 gave permission to start “College of Nursing” and allowed an intake of 40 students on permanently Non-grant basis.

The College started functioning on 01.09.2008. The College is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nasik. Dr. Smt. P. U. Mary is the first Principal of the college.
